How do I get a parcel to St Helena or Edinburgh Settlement, Tristan da Cunha or Ascension Island?

Courier the parcel or bring it to our offices and we will arrange all necessary customs and other logistical compliance and get it to the final destination in the shortest time

Do you offer Air Freight Services?

Yes but only to St Helena on a once per week basis (Currently suspended to Covid-19)– See our air-freight page for details

What information do I need to give?

For both of the above situations, we will need to know the following:

  • Your full name and address and contact details.
  • Details of who the package(s) is going to, package size and weight.
  • Details of the contents of the package. All as per our indemnity and Customs declaration form.

You will need package it properly (for multi-stage handling) and label it with the details of the receiving party.

How do I pay?

We will send you an invoice once we know the size and weight (to calculate the freight charges) This would need to be settled prior to the consignment leaving our warehouse for its final destination.

Who will pay St Helena DUTIES on my goods?

Zedcore is only responsible for getting the goods onto the destination wharf and so, clients must pay their own duties to the local authorities.

I have my household furniture and a vehicle to ship including personal effects, is this something Zedcore can help with?

Yes indeed, we are able to handle the complete range of goods and if you are moving your household contents we could dedicate a full container for this purpose and help you to find the best way to load your possessions. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and to get a quotation.

Insurance - will my goods be insured?

No, unless you have specifically asked us to insure your items, or you have purchased marine cover elsewhere, your goods are not insured. Further details can be found on our ‘Procedures’ page.

Can you collect Items for me that have been purchased by or from others?

Yes we can arrange transport for you – quotation will be provided but, unfortunately we do not collect fragile goods such as windscreens or any other glass objects, but we are happy to receive them at our warehouse if they are suitably packed to withstand a sea voyage.
